About The Role
The Senior Commercial Operations Analyst provides data-driven insights, business intelligence, forecasting, and operational support to the Commercial organization. Reporting to the Director of Analytics under the Finance department, this role partners cross-functionally with the VP of Commercial and State Sales Managers to transform ERP, CRM, syndicated market data, and customer performance into actionable recommendations that improve revenue growth, commercial execution, and operational efficiency. This position serves as the analytical partner responsible for delivering reporting, identifying trends and opportunities, measuring commercial performance, and enabling data-driven decision making across all markets.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Analytics & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and automate commercial dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting across all markets.
- Analyze ERP, CRM, inventory, customer, and sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and revenue opportunities.
- Deliver weekly commercial business reviews highlighting performance, market changes, customer insights, and recommended actions.
- Prepare executive reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
- Forecasting & Business Intelligence
- Develop forecasting models, sales projections, and revenue tracking tools.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and identify business risks requiring Commercial Leadership attention.
- Analyze purchasing behavior, assortment trends, inventory health, promotional effectiveness, and sales performance.
- Support territory planning, account segmentation, quota tracking, and performance measurement.
- Market Intelligence
- Analyze syndicated data sources (Headset, BDSA, etc.) to evaluate market share, pricing, competitive activity, and assortment opportunities.
- Provide regular competitive intelligence and commercial recommendations.
- Commercial Operations
- Maintain CRM integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Measure promotional ROI, trade investment effectiveness, and distribution performance.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve commercial processes.
- Partner with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Intelligence to ensure reporting consistency.
- Decision Support
- Serve as the primary analytical partner to the VP of Commercial and State Sales Managers.
- Translate complex data into concise business recommendations.
- Support executive presentations, business cases, and special projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- 4–7 years of Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, or Commercial Analytics experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas).
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Experience with Headset, BDSA, Nielsen, Circana, or similar syndicated data preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- 21 years & older.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
