About the Role

Senior Operations Business Analysts lead small to medium subsets of larger projects and initiatives, as well as individual processes that bring value to The Home Depot. The role requires high analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of analysts and other associates.
• Perform data gathering, synthesis, develop solutions, and project/strategy planning.
• Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.
• Deliver presentations to teams, executive leaders, and sponsors.
• Build skills and knowledge, including self-development, team knowledge, and internal customer knowledge.
• Assign and review work, train team members, and contribute to performance appraisals (excluding hiring, firing, or disciplinary actions).

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Experience leading high-performing teams, consulting management, and/or project management.
• Strong quantitative skills, including statistics and data analysis.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Strong operations, retail, and/or field knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• 5 years of work experience.

Travel & Physical Requirements

• Overnight travel required less than 10% of the time.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
• On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Located in a comfortable indoor area; unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.

Direct Manager & Reports

Typically reports to a Store Operations Process Manager or Store Operations Business Manager (or Sr. Managers). No direct reports on a permanent basis, but requires leadership of a work group.
