Sr. CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)

Salary: $30.00 - $33.00/hr, plus 2nd shift premium

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures and inspects detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of machining tools and equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, and other machining equipment) and using mathematical and geometrical calculations.
• Works from blueprints and process sheets.
• Writes and proves out CNC programs.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses processes to eliminate variability and improve throughput.
• Takes dimensional inspections and interprets the results against the provided blueprint.
• Verifies the quality of their product and accuracy of all work.
• Applies working knowledge of shop and machine safety procedures.
• Uses micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring tools.
• Understands the basic application of various cutting tools.
• Works overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Requirements

• CNC and manual mill/lathe experience required.
• High School/GED required.
• Mazak Turning Centers experience preferred.
• Thread Rolling experience preferred.
• Technical/Trade School preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs.
• Experience with stainless steels and high-temperature alloys.
• PC skills are a plus; Lift truck experience a plus.
• Flexible, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
