Sr. Closing Associate

Overview

The role of a Sr. Closing Associate at Capital One involves supporting the Commercial Loan Operations Closing Team. This team handles loans for unique or niche industries requiring special handling and industry knowledge.

Primary Functions

• Review complex loan documents
• Drive deal closing calls with internal and external deal team members and counsel
• Ensure legal documentation accurately reflects credit approval
• Facilitate teamwork and continuity
• Collaborate with Relationship Manager/Underwriter to understand transactions and obtain relevant documentation
• Liaise and coordinate pre-closing requirements with internal and external clients
• Resolve issues that might impede closing and involve manager and internal counsel when required
• Complete post-closing steps to ensure necessary documentation is received by downstream partners
• Maintain accuracy and customer satisfaction as the top priority

Work From Home Requirements

Living Requirements

• Candidates must live within approximately 50 miles of one of the hub locations in 75024, 23238 or 28203
• Must be comfortable coming in person whenever required with no less than 24 hours notice

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of Loan Closing or Loan Servicing experience in Commercial or Business Banking
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience preferred
• 3+ years of Commercial Loan Closing or Commercial Loan Servicing experience preferred
• 3+ years of Loan Syndication (agent or participant) experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience with ACBS preferred

Pay Range

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

• Charlotte, NC: $80,800 - $92,200 for Sr. Closing Associate
