Sr. Closing Associate

Overview

The role of a Sr. Closing Associate involves supporting the Commercial Loan Operations Closing Team. This team handles loans for unique or niche industries requiring specialized knowledge and expertise.

Primary Functions

• Review complex loan documents and drive deal closing calls with internal and external teams
• Ensure legal documentation accurately reflects credit approval intentions
• Facilitate teamwork and continuity
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Underwriters to understand transactions and obtain necessary documentation
• Liaise with clients (Underwriter, Relationship Manager, Borrowers, Agent Banks) for pre-closing requirements
• Demonstrate ability to balance regulatory and policy requirements when making decisions
• Maintain accuracy and customer satisfaction as the top priority

Work From Home Requirements

• A secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of Loan Closing or Loan Servicing experience in Commercial or Business Banking
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience preferred
• 3+ years of Commercial Loan Closing or Commercial Loan Servicing experience preferred
• 3+ years of Loan Syndication (agent or participant) experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience with ACBS preferred

Living Requirements

• Candidates must live within approximately 50 miles of one of the hub locations based in 75024, 23238 or 28203
• Must be comfortable coming in person whenever required with no less than 24 hours notice

Pay Range

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:

• Charlotte, NC: $80,800 - $92,200 for Sr. Closing Associate
