Essential Responsibilities
- Takes ownership and leads accounts by servicing the largest and most complex accounts.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and operates as an effective partner with clients.
- Reviews insurance in place and assesses future needs of clients.
- Evaluates and recommends insurance options for clients.
- Maintains an awareness of complex or significant claims situations and assists in claims process management as requested.
- Investigates or identifies appropriate resources to resolve complex insurance issues ensuring client and sales team satisfaction.
- Maintains visibility with clients, fostering lasting relationships developed through professional and technical expertise, as well as understanding client’s business needs.
- Meets with team for pre-renewal meetings on assigned accounts and development of client opportunities.
- Prepares client renewal reviews and applications, orders renewals, as well as the completion of required documents.
- Manages various complex insurance plans such as loss sensitive risk funding plans, and associated loss development and loss forecasting.
- Accountable for account accuracy by ensuring that on-line customer information, as well as items received by carriers are accurate and current to include exposure schedules, policy formats, policy endorsements, premiums, and invoicing.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years customer service, underwriting or risk management experience in the insurance industry.
- Licensing: Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
- Technical Competencies: Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs. Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance. Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
