About the role

The Sr Claims Coordinator (Sr Commercial Account Coordinator) is an entry-level contributor that works 11 am - 8 pm to solve customer-related problems of limited complexity and scope and performs a variety of administrative assignments to ensure a smooth and efficient claims process, providing an exceptional customer experience throughout every stage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with the submission of claims, guiding them through required documentation and steps.
  • Address customer concerns, troubleshoot issues, and work toward satisfactory resolution with empathy and professionalism.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various channels, including phone, email, and chat.
  • Work proactively to resolve customer issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Cook up communication with customers and associates.
  • Cook up the processing of customer claims, ensuring all documentation is complete and that claims are properly categorized and tracked.
  • Cook up collaboration with internal teams to ensure claims are reviewed and processed within company guidelines and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims and customer interactions within the claims management system.
  • Identify patterns and recurring issues in claims processes, recommending areas for improvement to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Cook up participation in the continuous improvement of claims procedures, providing feedback on ways to improve the customer experience and streamline workflows.
  • Escalate complex claims to the appropriate parties for further investigation or decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

Qualifications

  • Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
