Sr. Channel BD Manager, Partner Core
About the role
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from large accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. The AWS Global Support team works with leading companies and supports mission-critical applications built on AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate campaigns and sales motions for Partner Sellers, Sales, Partner Managers, and Center of Excellence stakeholders to accelerate AWS Partner Network programs.
- Own projects across cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring programs from ideation to implementation.
- Review and triage strategic and complex partner private pricing requests, collaborating with AWS stakeholders like the Private Pricing Team to drive requests to closure.
- Contribute to executive-level planning and reporting on GTM plan execution.
- Use data analytics to track program trends and scenarios, sharing insights and identifying areas for improvement.
- Document and improve programs' processes, tools, and templates to enhance cross-functional delivery.
- Develop and deliver partner-facing content on Partner profitability.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and represent AWS at industry events and conferences.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Managing programs across cross-functional teams and building processes.
- 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
Skills
- Easily converse in a range of subjects including sales, finance, legal, and operational conversations.
- Great communication skills to work with partners and internal teams.

Pay
Base salary range: $162,700.00 - $220,200.00 USD annually for NY, $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually for WA.
Schedule
Full-time.
