About the Role

As the Sr. Capital Markets Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the data infrastructure, reporting, and analysis that informs capital markets decision-making. You will leverage data to identify trends, improve existing processes, and work collaboratively with teams across the organization, including Risk and Operations. This role will support the Head of Capital Markets by providing analytical insights and assisting with the execution of strategic initiatives within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Capital Markets to translate market trends into actionable product/lending strategies.
  • Automate recurring investor reporting workflows, moving away from manual spreadsheets toward scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal constituents, bankers, lawyers, rating agencies, and investors to structure new financing facilities and modify existing ones as the business requires.
  • Respond to requests from rating agencies, lenders, investors, and auditors.
  • Automate departmental processes to increase efficiency and decrease errors.
  • Provide high-value analysis and insight to Finance leadership.
  • Provide analytical support for financial audits.
  • Monitor ABS market and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in Capital Markets, Structured Finance, or FinTech.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or Math.
  • Advanced quantitative skills, including the ability to extract and manipulate data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA and SQL querying.
  • Knowledge of cash management functions and an understanding of finance and accounting principles is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in banking, securitization, ABL lending, fintech, or servicing preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial services and credit card industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and analytical thinking ability.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team.
  • Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results in a timely manner.
