Sr. Business Operations & Network Optimization Manager
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). They say do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. We need to include sections only when posting has real, specific content. We have content: About the Company (description). Job Summary (role description). Duties & Responsibilities (list). Education & Experience (list). Octave's Company Values (list). Physical Requirements (list). Compensation, Equity & Incentives (pay details). Comprehensive Benefits (list). How We Use Technology in Hiring (maybe not needed). Also there is a statement about pay equity etc. We need to map to allowed headings: About the role (maybe Job Summary), Responsibilities (Duties & Responsibilities), Requirements (Education & Experience), Qualifications (maybe not separate), Skills (maybe not), Benefits (Comprehensive Benefits), Pay (Compensation, Equity & Incentives), Schedule (maybe not present). Also we could have About the Company as a section? Not in list but could be included as a heading? The instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those examples. Probably we should stick to those headings where applicable. About the Company could be considered "About the role"? Actually "About the Company" is separate. Might be okay to include as a heading but not in list? Safer to include as About the Company
maybe acceptable. However they said "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." That implies those are typical but not exclusive. I'd include About the Company as a section.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Remove "How We Use Technology in Hiring" maybe not needed but could be omitted as not in allowed headings. It's not boilerplate but maybe not needed. Could include as a short paragraph under a generic heading? Probably better to omit as not required.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include details about compensation ranges, equity, remote work stipend, internet reimbursement, benefits details, physical requirements, company values, etc.
We must not include placeholder text like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose.

We need to preserve all substantive information; we can break into list items per bullet.
Similarly Education & Experience: list items.
Company Values: list items.
Physical Requirements: list items.
Pay: we need to include base salary ranges per geo, variable compensation note, equity awards, remote work stipend, internet & phone reimbursement. Use - for each.
Benefits: list items from Comprehensive Benefits.
We must not include duplicated lines: there is a repeated line "Octave is committed to pay equity and transparency." appears twice; we should include only once.
Also there is a long paragraph about pay equity non-retaliation etc. That's substantive? It's legal boilerplate maybe but it's about pay equity policy. Might be considered boilerplate? It's not navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning. It's about pay equity policy; could be considered part of Compensation section. We'll include as a paragraph maybe.
We must not include application instructions, EEO questions, etc.

- Provide data-driven hiring targets and market priorities to Talent Acquisition and Clinical Operations.
- Analyze available slot supply, access gaps, and provider capacity, including the operational and revenue implications of identified gaps.
- Develop models and frameworks to project provider capacity needs based on client behavior, utilization patterns, and market trends.
- Recommend network expansion or contraction, panel participation, and other actions that improve access and network performance.
- Partner with Clinical Operations on initiatives that improve provider utilization, retention, engagement, and performance.
- Lead provider segmentation strategy and translate provider NPS, experience, and performance insights into differentiated actions.

- Lead focused initiatives from analysis through implementation and handoff, ensuring clear ownership and sustained results.
- Build trusted reporting, dashboards, and recurring reviews on provider supply, demand, utilization, retention, and network performance.
- Prepare concise executive and board-grade materials that clarify trends, implications, tradeoffs, and recommended actions for executive leaders to present.
- Provide provider and clinical-operations insights that inform Product priorities and requirements.
- Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from executives and external partners with accuracy and urgency.

- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and data privacy regulations is a plus.
- A track record of structuring ambiguous problems, analyzing complex data, and translating findings into practical recommendations and measurable results.
- Strong quantitative and financial acumen, including advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling and experience with business cases, forecasting, or performance analysis.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Crisp written and verbal communication, including executive presentations that clarify insights, tradeoffs, and recommended actions.
- High agency, curiosity, and a willingness to move between strategy and hands-on execution.
Company Values

- People deserve better than status quo. We’re willing to tackle the intractable problems, no matter how big, because someone should. We ask big questions, we craft big solutions, and we challenge ourselves and others to make it happen.
- No bystanders. No stars. No tourists. Each person has been selected to be here, and with that comes a responsibility to bring your expertise, share your ideas, and help make this company better.
