Key job responsibilities
- Provide regular analysis and insight to marketing channel and Devices product line leaders.
- Proactively identify trends and facilitate analysis to identify issues impacting Devices and Amazon wide traffic.
- Identify customer signals across the full funnel, translate behavioral data into actionable insights that drive business results and inform real-time campaign decisions.
- Architect and develop an AI-native analytics and reporting model, leveraging both traditional dashboards and AI agents to enable scalable self-service business intelligence and reduce time-to-insight.
- Establish a unified intelligence measurement layer that connects customer touchpoints across channels, enabling a cohesive view of customer journey from awareness through conversion.
- Define, govern, and evolve metric standards and KPI frameworks to ensure consistent measurement across Homepage surfaces and partner teams.
- Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments to measure causal impact, inform strategy, and optimize program performance.
- Build ETL pipelines, statistical models, and machine learning solutions using large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align the analytics roadmap with strategic goals and objectives.
- Design and implement end-to-end reporting solutions, metrics, dashboards, and automated processes to drive key business decisions and track progress against targets.

The Devices Amazon.com Homepage team delivers personalized experiences across XB+ annual impressions for 16 product line teams to drive discovery, engagement, and conversion for hundreds of millions of customers. They are part of the cross-devices marketing group, operating in one of the most diverse businesses at Amazon, empowered to explore new ideas, channels, and tools, setting the stage for how they'll do business tomorrow.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a related occupation experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems using automation tools
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- Track record of developing and monitoring KPIs to drive business decisions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- Knowledge of Python or R or other scripting language
- Experience in statistics methodology, applications to business problems or big data
