Culture Statement

Don’t meet all desired requirements? Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single desired qualification. At Blue Origin, we are dedicated to building an authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every desired qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

About the role

  • Create automation solutions to integrate disparate systems and automate otherwise manual workload
  • Create analytical data models that support standardized metrics tied to production rate ramp and supply chain performance
  • Collaborate with supply chain leaders, production control, and program management to identify and build metrics that enable leaders to lead their teams
  • Work with partners and domain specialists to generate reporting, application, and integration requirements

  • Experience using Python to structure data frames (Pandas, etc.), develop automations, build machine learning models (XGBoost) and create data visualizations (Seaborn, Matplotlib)
  • Experience building data-driven web applications or custom interactive visualizations beyond standard no-code BI tools
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily development workflow to write, iterate on, and review code
  • Familiarity using version control to check in production code in a shared repository
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action
  • Ability to work side by side with business users to scope analytics and automation requirements
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills

  • Experience supporting production environments focused on rate manufacturing or production ramp
  • Experience building data models in dbt
  • Experience with hierarchical data structures and recursive processing techniques
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
  • Experience with web frameworks such as Streamlit, Flask, Dash, or React for building analytical applications

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Short and long-term disability
  • 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%
  • Education Support Program
