About the role

Lilly is seeking a Sr. Business Director to lead a team responsible for account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence the treatment for autoimmune diseases. The role involves building relationships with key customers in rheumatology and dermatology, advocating for new and existing therapies, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage the market within the assigned district using appropriate business analytics to meet customer needs and drive results.
  • Coach team members to navigate the ever-changing healthcare environment and become trusted partners to key stakeholders.
  • Build a high-functioning team by recruiting and onboarding diverse top talent, defining clear expectations, tracking progress, and holding individuals accountable for performance.
  • Embrace a growth mindset to lead and coach others through challenges, focusing on creating positive experiences.
  • Achieve the team’s targeted activity metrics while adhering to internal policies and procedures.
  • Hold self and team accountable to business expectations.
  • Build relationships with internal partners and external partners to foster trust, create value, and drive results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated business ownership skills.
  • Proven examples of strong learning agility, self-motivation, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and inspiration.
  • Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs preferred.

Pay

$157,500 - $231,000
