About the role
NBCUniversal is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst – Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) to own and evolve our enterprise contract management platform. This role serves as the primary business lead for CLM capabilities, partnering with Legal, Sourcing, Studios, Privacy, Compliance, and Technology teams to streamline contract processes, drive platform adoption, and deliver innovative solutions. The successful candidate will act as the configuration lead for CLM, translating business needs into scalable workflows, managing vendor relationships, driving roadmap priorities, and shaping NBCUniversal’s next generation of AI-enabled contract management capabilities. The role supports the continued evolution of enterprise CLM, contract intake modernization, workflow automation, reporting, integrations, and enterprise expansion initiatives.
Responsibilities
- CLM Platform Ownership
- Serve as the primary business owner for the CLM platform (Malbek).
- Manage and prioritize the CLM enhancement backlog and roadmap.
- Configure workflows, templates, clause libraries, metadata models, approval routing, and reporting capabilities.
- Partner with application support and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract lifecycle efficiency and user experience.
- Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across Legal, Procurement, Studios, Media, and Corporate functions.
- Document business processes, future-state workflows, functional requirements, and solution designs.
- Conduct fit-gap assessments and make recommendations for process and technology improvements.
- Support testing, release management, training, and change adoption activities.
- Enterprise Contract Transformation
- Drive expansion of CLM capabilities across new business units and use cases.
- Support intake modernization, workflow standardization, and governance initiatives.
- Partner with Legal Operations and Technology teams to establish scalable contract management practices.
- Develop KPIs and reporting to measure adoption, efficiency, and business value.
- AI & Innovation
- Evaluate and implement AI-enabled contracting capabilities, including drafting support, clause analysis, contract summarization, semantic search, and metadata automation.
- Partner with enterprise AI teams and vendors to identify new use cases and productivity opportunities.
- Support pilot programs and business case development for emerging CLM technologies.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as trusted advisor to Legal, Procurement, Operations, Privacy, Records Management, and Compliance stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive updates, roadmap reviews, and steering committee discussions.
- Coordinate across product, operations, vendor, and technology teams to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Legal Operations, or related field.
- 5+ years of business analysis, product ownership, legal operations, contract management, or enterprise application experience.
- Experience supporting Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms such as Malbek, Icertis, Ironclad, Agiloft, Sirion, Ariba, or similar solutions.
- Strong experience gathering requirements, designing workflows, and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process transformation.
- Experience with reporting, data analysis, and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting Legal, Procurement, Compliance, Records Management, or Sourcing organizations.
- Familiarity with contract drafting, negotiation, approval workflows, and contract repositories.
- Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools and automation platforms.
- Knowledge of integrations, metadata management, and system governance.
- Agile, product management, or business process improvement certifications are a plus.
Success Measures (First 12–18 Months)
- Increase CLM adoption across targeted business units.
- Deliver roadmap priorities supporting workflow automation, intake modernization, and reporting enhancements.
- Improve contract cycle times and reduce manual touchpoints.
- Expand AI-enabled contracting capabilities and user adoption.
- Establish scalable governance, training, and operational processes for enterprise-wide CLM growth.
Schedule
This position currently has a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office work a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Pay
Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000
