About the role
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This role is part of a large-scale software modernization effort focused on moving away from legacy Citrix environments and building out a modernized, web-based Transportation Management System (TMS).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, structure, and facilitate comprehensive requirement elicitation sessions, defining clear meeting agendas and publishing actionable recaps.
- Manage requirements and documentation lifecycles utilizing Jira, Confluence, Miro, Smartsheet, and Visio.
- Collaborate with project management leads to handle scope tracking, change control, and solution assessments for vendor evaluations.
- Map complex current-state vs. future-state workflows and define structured migration transition plans for greenfield software projects.
- Uncover, document, and analyze legacy system logic where little to no source documentation currently exists.
- Navigate a relation-based corporate landscape, taking the initiative to proactively resolve delivery bottlenecks and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Author, refine, and maintain detailed functional and non-functional software requirements as the primary focus of the role.
- Partner closely with software developers to interpret technical code boundaries and translate them into clear business rules.
Qualifications
- Five plus years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst building baseline technical analysis skills.
- Proven track record working on complex application integration and system data flow initiatives.
- Experience translating legacy, un-documented platform workflows into web architectures.
- High-level meeting facilitation, requirements elicitation, and process modeling capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency using Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a deliberate, relationship-first approach to stakeholder engagement.
Preferred
- Logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry experience.
- Deep familiarity with BABOK standards and structural business analysis frameworks.
- Large-scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or integrated shipping project experience.
Details
- Onsite in St. Cloud, MN.
- 6-Month Contract-to-Hire.
- Compensation $100,000 - $120,000 (hourly equivalent during contract period).
