About the role
Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements.
Responsibilities
- Defines and develops business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics.
- Conducts analysis of business processes including Current state analysis, Gap analysis, Benchmarking, Best practices identification, Organizational assessment, and Other related tasks.
- Plans and implements process improvements including Future state design, Change management, Transition planning.
- Interfaces with all project areas including Customer, Computer services, Client services.
- Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and performance quality.
- Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Works with operating entities to provide continuous process analyses oversight to enforce requirements and meet guidelines.
- May coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.
- May deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
- May perform cost and benefit analysis.
Requirements
- Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements, business processes, and workflows.
- Proficiency in creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Experience with business modeling techniques and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficient in project management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Understanding database concepts and basic querying skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, interpretation, and presenting findings.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to translate technical information into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills and experience facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Able to identify problems, propose solutions, and make decisions based on sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior analysts and team members.
- Experience in managing and coordinating cross-functional project teams.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks effectively.

- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Master’s and ten (10) years or more experience is required. Degree in Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline is required. Advanced certifications are preferred, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Certification, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe SCRUM MASTER (SSM).
Clearance Requirement
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Pay
$80,001 - $120,000.
