Sr. Business Analyst – ACH Commercial Origination Transformation

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a strategic commercial banking transformation initiative focused on improving the commercial origination experience, increasing operational efficiency, and standardizing business processes. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and transformation teams to analyze current processes, gather requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and help design future-state solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis and process mapping experience, a background in banking operations, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder interviews.
• Document current-state workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support future-state process design and transformation initiatives.
• Analyze business and system requirements to support solution development.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop process maps, business requirements, use cases, and supporting documentation.
• Assess system capabilities and identify gaps between current and future-state needs.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate conceptual ideas into practical solutions.
• Support business case, solution proposal, and executive presentation development as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Experience in banking within Commercial ACH/Payments
• Strong experience with business process analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering
• Experience supporting business transformation or process improvement initiatives
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend improvements
• Experience working with business and technology teams to define solutions
• Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification
• Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM-enabled business processes
• Understanding of sales onboarding and file ingestion processes
• Experience developing business cases, solution recommendations, and executive presentations
• Experience evaluating vendor solutions
• Knowledge of commercial banking operations and customer onboarding processes
• Commercial Lending Experience
