Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Senior Budget System Analyst for a client in Missouri. This role is a temp-to-hire position, offering an exciting opportunity to work onsite in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
- Administer BSD's budget system, including system integrity, security, maintenance, and ongoing enhancements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Tagetik access and training, responding to user inquiries as needed.
- Maintain and update key Tagetik dimensions to ensure accurate revenue, operating budget, and expense reporting.
- Review and update the annual upload of personnel data to initiate the current-year budget cycle.
- Select budget training topics based on system updates, user needs, and annual budgeting cycles.
- Deliver training through classroom, Zoom, and other remote formats.
- Prepare and compile annual budget documents.
- Support Budget Book preparation by completing updates and resolving issues during development.
- Create consolidated Budget Book PDFs for distribution to Corporate Printing and key leadership.
- Support budget reviews with Cost Center Managers on personnel and headcount, rate changes, position changes, and cost center movements.
- Finalize budgeted headcount totals in alignment with approved staffing plans.
- Obtain monthly new-hire, termination, and cost center data to support staffing updates.
- Prepare and review cost center budgets for cost-effectiveness and compliance with Agency guidelines.
- Prepare and produce budget-related reports for the Board, President, senior leadership, and cost center management.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of employee policies and procedures relevant to budgeting and cost center administration.
- Proficiency in using computers and standard business applications to support budgeting and reporting activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities, timelines, and system requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to support training and accurate documentation.
- Strong problem-identification skills, including the ability to troubleshoot system, process, and data issues.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $36 to $47, commensurate with experience.
