Sr Budget Analyst

Job Summary

Zantech is a performance-based Woman Owned Small Business seeking a Sr Budget Analyst for an upcoming role at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The position supports financial management programs, MICP administration, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Support Managers' Internal Control Program (MICP) administration
• Aid in resolving ULOs, open invoices, UMTs, IDOCs, and sales order errors
• Maintain and update status reports for ASA(ALT) ARD
• Conduct historical fact finding for audit sampling
• Ensure quality control and configuration control of documents
• Assist with audit-related tasks for project managers

Requirements

• At least 14 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years in government budgetary systems
• Basic understanding of DoD Audit Policies and procedures
• Knowledge of DoD audit policies including:
• Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP)
• Dormant Account Review- Quarterly (DAR-3 Q) Tool
• Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC)
• DoD Audit Readiness initiatives
• Proven competence in:
• DoD audit policies
• MICP
• Financial reconciliation
• Audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• PREFERRED: MBA with 24 credits of accounting OR Bachelor's in Business/Business Administration/Financial Management with extensive government experience
