Sr Bridge Engineer

About the Role

We're conducting a confidential search for an established and growing engineering firm in the Orlando market seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer/PE with 10‑15 years of experience. This role offers more influence, autonomy, upside, and potential ownership for engineers looking to go beyond a senior title.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex bridge design and rehabilitation projects
• Perform structural analysis, design, calculations, and plan development
• Provide project oversight, manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Coordinate with clients and agencies
• Conduct technical QA/QC
• Mentor and develop engineers
• Support business development and client relationships
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's bridge and structures capabilities

Requirements

• 10‑15 years of bridge/structural engineering experience
• Active PE license
• Strong bridge design and project leadership experience
• Experience mentoring engineers
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• FDOT experience highly preferred
• Interest in taking on greater responsibility over time

Pay

$150K‑$195K base salary + performance bonus
