Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual business plans and long-term growth strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profit objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities by leveraging consumer insights, category trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Drive sustainable brand growth through innovation, adjacent category expansion, and strategic household penetration initiatives.
- Own and manage brand P&L performance, ensuring financial accountability and profitable growth.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, advertising programs, promotional initiatives, and creative platforms.
- Strengthen brand positioning, design systems, and messaging to build meaningful differentiation and brand equity.
- Monitor marketing performance, measure ROI, and continuously optimize plans to maximize effectiveness.
- Develop compelling brand stories that resonate with both retailers and consumers.
- Lead the development and commercialization of new products and innovations.
- Create comprehensive launch plans that deliver against growth objectives and market opportunities.
- Partner with Sales to develop category-focused selling stories, innovation pipelines, and retailer growth strategies.
- Prioritize initiatives effectively in a fast-moving environment while ensuring resources are aligned to deliver results.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, Finance, Operations, Insights & Analytics, and Commercial Strategy teams through the Integrated Business Planning process.
- Translate insights and analytics into actionable business strategies and growth initiatives.
- Influence decision-making across the organization through strong communication and leadership.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational capability by developing talent and creating future marketing leaders.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of brand management experience, preferably within consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, General Management, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- Proficiency with Nielsen and/or IRI syndicated data and market analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, consumer communications, promotions, and commercialization processes.
- Demonstrated success managing brands to volume, revenue, and profit targets.
- Experience launching new products and driving growth through both innovation and core business initiatives.
- Strong strategic, analytical, financial, and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results independently.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Strong general management capabilities, including strategic planning, portfolio management, project management, market research, and P&L ownership.
- Experience managing and developing direct reports for three or more years.
- Ability to identify emerging trends and convert insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Knowledge of pricing strategy, price-pack architecture, cost management, margins, budgeting, cash flow, and capital investment planning.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational alignment and execute through influence.
Pay Range
$113,987 - $177,820 per year.
