Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies.
• Step out from behind the bar to attend to customers shopping around the store.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy shifts.
• Uphold all liquor laws and regulations, including checking IDs and monitoring responsible alcohol service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree or higher in hotel and restaurant management a plus.
• Must be 21+ and hold a valid TABC license or the ability to obtain one.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
• Supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs. for restocking and receiving shipments.
