Houston, TX (Hybrid) Long Term Contract Job Description Assess and optimize existing Data Engineering processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI across Data Engineering workflows.Develop and demonstrate Proofs of Concept (POCs) for innovative AI and automation initiatives.Drive successful implementation and adoption of AI/automation solutions from POC through production.Proactively identify process gaps, technical challenges, and opportunities for innovation and optimization.Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to design effective and scalable solutions.Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, and multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and drive alignment.Communicate complex technical concepts effectively and build stakeholder support for innovative solutions.Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Agentic AI and AI-driven Data Engineering solutions.Apply AI solutions across the SDLC, including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.Possess strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, including data engineering, processing, and AI/ML capabilities.Have solid experience with AWS Redshift and modern cloud-based data engineering architectures.
