About the role

Long Term Contract Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Assess, analyze, and optimize existing Data Engineering processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI enablement across Data Engineering workflows.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) for innovative AI-driven solutions and lead their successful implementation.
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive innovative solutions from ideation through implementation.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with Agentic AI, AI Agents, and AI‑powered Data Engineering solutions.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and innovation skills to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Solid hands‑on experience with Databricks for data processing, engineering, and analytics.
• Strong experience with AWS Redshift for cloud data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Ability to evaluate existing data architectures and recommend scalable, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions.
