Sr. Associate, Quality Assurance Analyst - iRF (ID: 1194)

About the role

iRF Solutions, an Amphenol company, is seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into quality wins.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification audits).
• Develop, maintain, review, analyze, and report quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Aid in the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
• Support document control activities, including review, revision, and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Perform vendor management and participate in nonconformance investigations related to product, process, or supplier issues.
• Support supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluations and surveys, supplier visits, and corrective actions, as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain) to promote quality awareness and compliance.
• Aid in training employees in quality processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure quality records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with retention requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems roles (preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment).
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with quality management software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Experience in RF, electronics, or defense-related manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory or customer-driven quality requirements.

Pay

$80,000 - $92,000 per year.

Schedule

Onsite in Sparks, MD with a 9/80 schedule. Every other Friday off.
