Job Summary
Under the direction of the Deputy Athletics Director for Operations & Strategy, the Senior Associate Athletics Director provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for athletics facilities, venue operations, capital planning, construction management, camps and auxiliary programming, and assigned sport programs. The position serves as a key member of the Athletics Department Senior Leadership Team and plays a critical role in advancing the department's operational effectiveness, long-term infrastructure goals, and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Planning, Construction Management, & Facilities Development.
Athletics Facilities, Events, & Venue Operations.
Review facility utilization, revenue, expense, and operational performance reports to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Sport Supervision & Program Oversight.
Supervise coaching staff and promote their professional growth, while advocating for student-athlete welfare, balancing academic success, athletic performance, and personal development.
Senior Leadership Team & Strategic Initiatives.
Camps, Clinics, & Auxiliary Revenue Programs.
External Partnerships, Community Relations & Stakeholder Management.
Department Athletics
The duration of appointment is regular, at-will position. The compensation range is $10,555 - $15,833 per month. Benefits include paid time off, health coverage, retirement plans, tuition fee waiver programs, and employee assistance programs.
Physical Summary
Heavy work - Job involves lifting more than 40 pounds. Approximately half of the incumbent's time will be spent walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, or climbing.
