Sr Assoc, Engineering Services
About the role
Individual would have responsibility for creating, tracking, and ensuring that all Ariba transactions associated with the Syracuse Facilities department are invoiced correctly, along with any other administrative tasking related to Purchase Orders (POs). Further, they would act as the primary Ariba support specialist for the Mechanical Center of Excellence (COE) Engineering center.
Additionally, this individual would also act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all shipping related matters for the Syracuse SITE. Such responsibilities include monitoring, acknowledging, updating, and servicing any shipping requests. Servicing said requests would involve working to ensure the items are properly packaged, crated, and labeled in accordance with all internal and external process and regulatory requirements.
Finally, this individual would act as the overall administrative assistant for the Facilities organization and would be charged with various tasking as such. Examples include keeping the kitchenette stocked, managing the campus-wide water coolers, and the like.
Responsibilities
- Use Ariba to enter, monitor, and troubleshoot purchasing related tasks
- Use both internal and external IT systems to execute all Syracuse site shipping requests
- Act as administrator for the Facilities group and associated programs
- Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all shipping related matters for the Syracuse SITE
- Keep the kitchenette stocked and manage the campus-wide water coolers
Requirements
- Associates degree
- 8+ years of experience in purchasing and/or Ariba support
- 8+ years of expertise in basic software operation (Microsoft office)
Qualifications
- Associates related to Computer Information Systems
- Expertise and/or qualifications in transportation and logistics

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
