Sr. Assembly & Test Technician (Edwards Vacuum)

About the role
The Senior Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician supports multiple work centers—electronics, pump module assembly, system assembly & test, and final assembly—to ensure seamless production flow and high-quality output. The role focuses on building and assembling modules, cables, and dry pumps using engineered drawings and documented procedures, meeting build standards and maintaining continuous throughput. The Senior A&T Technician also trains and mentors other technicians.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test modules, cables, and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan, prioritizing quality and output targets.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Follow assembly and test instructions and procedures to meet quality requirements.
- Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
- Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and supporting departments.
- Communicate and seek guidance when encountering errors or build difficulties.
- Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet standards.
- Train and mentor other technicians as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical component construction, assembly, and test principles (dependent on assigned area).
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
- Experience with hand tools and small power tools, including pneumatic tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2 years of assembly and test experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).

Pay
Salary Range: $21.63 - $31.27 per hour. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
