Salary Range: $21 - $26 per hour

The purpose of the Material Handler role is to facilitate the movement of all materials through the factory; moving product throughout assembly & test, put away activities in the warehouse, picking orders for assembly, and shipping of finished product to customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Sort and verify materials count for all deliveries received at the factory.
- Put away materials into warehouse racking and making accurate record of the location.
- Locate materials to pick order for production jobs being started in assembly.
- Prepare materials for shipping by pulling, packing, crating and loading.
- Perform all duties safely and according to procedure.
- Ensure that all materials are accurately accounted through any movement within the site.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Operate powered pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance and works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from the supervisor/ manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education Level
High School or GED required
Relevant Previous Experience
2 years minimum in either warehousing, material handling and / or manufacturing combined
Knowledge Areas/Skills
- Inventory control, cycle counting, Kanban and order picking preferred.
- SAP or ERP experience is preferred.
- Fork Lift certified is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work overtime as requested.

This role involves frequent manual handling and movement in potentially variable environments, requiring sustained physical effort.
- Hand and Finger Use/Dexterity: Uses hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls continually or almost continually (74% of the time), with manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating items.
- Moving Objects/Lifting/Carrying: Frequently moves, transports, positions, or removes objects, often requiring exertion of force (e.g., up to 50 pounds or more for bags or drums); involves static and dynamic strength for pushing, pulling, or carrying.
- Standing/Walking: Remains in an upright stationary position or traverses distances continually (23% of the time for standing) or frequently, including balancing and coordinating multiple limbs.
- Bending/Twisting/Reaching: Positions self by bending, twisting, or stretching the body about half the time (45%), requiring extent flexibility and trunk strength for repeated support without fatigue.
- Repetitive Motions: Performs repetitive actions continually or almost continually (45% of the time), demanding stamina for prolonged physical activity.
- Other Environmental Factors: Frequently exposed to extreme temperatures, weather, contaminants, or noise; wears protective equipment (e.g., gloves, safety shoes) daily (80% of the time).
