About the role
The Sr. Applications Analyst provides LAN and desktop support to end-users and customer service on company-supported computer applications, platforms, and devices. They also troubleshoot problems, advise on appropriate actions, and establish effective working relationships with physicians, team members, and management.
Responsibilities
- Provide LAN and desktop support to end-users and customer service on company-supported computer applications, platforms, and devices.
- Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action in an expeditious manner with a positive attitude.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, team members, and management.
- Be the subject matter expert and super user for the EHR/PM system of the practice.
- Coordinate and communicate all matters relating to training PM to ensure proper and efficient integrated workflows.
- Create and utilize training curriculum to train and instruct the physicians and staff on the use and features of the electronic medical records software effectively.
Requirements
This position requires a full-time schedule averaging 40 hours per week. It is an on-site position in our Huntsville, AL location.
Qualifications
- Education: HS/GED Education Preferred: Associates degree in computer science or equivalent education with relevant work experience in support of computer systems, applications, networks, and telecommunications.
- Experience: A+ or other industry certification preferred. Least 2 years of relevant experience in health information technology or a related field (including but not limited to health policy, health systems integration, health IT, electronic medical record implementation, and/or healthcare consulting).
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Medical billing and practice management systems (Systemedx, EMR/PM), and Tier 1 IT Analyst preferred.
