About the role

The Sr. Applications Analyst provides LAN and desktop support to end-users and customer service on company-supported computer applications, platforms, and devices. They also serve as the subject matter expert and super user for the EHR/PM system, coordinate and communicate training for physicians and staff, and create and utilize training curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots problems and advises on appropriate actions in an expeditious manner with a positive attitude
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with physicians, team members, and management
  • Coordinates and communicates all matters relating to training PM to ensure proper and efficient integrated workflows
  • Creates and utilizes training curriculum to train and instruct physicians and staff on the use and features of the electronic medical records software effectively

Requirements

This is an on-site position in our Huntsville, AL location. The Sr. Applications Analyst must be able to communicate effectively with TOC physicians and staff.

Qualifications

  • Education Required: HS/GED
  • Education Preferred: Associates degree in computer science or equivalent education with relevant work experience in support of computer systems, applications, networks, and telecommunications
  • Experience: A+ or other industry certification preferred
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in health information technology or a related field (including but not limited to health policy, health systems integration, health IT, electronic medical record implementation, and/or healthcare consulting)
  • Microsoft Office products
  • Medical billing and practice management systems (Systemedx, EMR/PM) preferred
  • Tier 1 IT Analyst preferred
