Sr Applications Analyst

About the role

The Sr. Applications Analyst provides LAN and desktop support to end-users and customer service on company-supported computer applications, platforms, and devices. They troubleshoot problems, advise on appropriate actions, and establish effective working relationships with physicians, team members, and management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems and advises on appropriate actions in an expeditious manner with a positive attitude.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with physicians, team members, and management.
• Acts as the subject matter expert and super user for the EHR/PM system of the practice.
• Coordinates and communicates all matters relating to training PM to ensure proper and efficient integrated workflows.
• Creates and utilizes training curriculum to train and instruct physicians and staff on the use and features of the electronic medical records software.

Requirements

This is an on-site position in our Huntsville, AL location. The Sr. Applications Analyst must be able to communicate effectively with TOC physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED Education Preferred: Associates degree in computer science or equivalent education with relevant work experience in support of computer systems, applications, networks, and telecommunications.
• Experience: A+ or other industry certification preferred. Least 2 years of relevant experience in health information technology or a related field (including but not limited to health policy, health systems integration, health IT, electronic medical record implementation, and/or healthcare consulting).
• Skills: Microsoft Office products, Medical billing and practice management systems (Systemedx, EMR/PM), Tier 1 IT Analyst preferred.

Average 40 hours per week.
