Sr Appl Launch Manager

About the role

The Senior Application Launch Manager will lead projects implementing Kenco’s Warehouse Management (WMS) systems from a functional and technical perspective across the company's network of sites. The position involves addressing business needs with systems related to Kenco’s platform, supporting the warehousing/logistics industry, and ensuring timely project completion.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads project coordination, including design, implementation planning, and execution;
• Schedules kickoff meetings, gathers requirements, analyzes, builds, tests, and launches projects;
• Liaises with vendors and customers, develops and maintains product documentation and training materials;
• Trains and troubleshoots, provides Level 3 production support;
• Writes and implements business requirement documentation for customizations and integrations;
• Manages project risks, defines success criteria, conducts post-mortems, and prepares recommendations;
• Turnsover projects to production support, oversees successful handover;
• Mentors junior level resources;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in project management and implementation launching WMS and/or LMS;
• Proficiency in SQL;
• Experience integrating WMS systems with ERP systems (SAP for example), WCS a plus;
• Ability to create positive and professional business relationships with clients and third-party service/product providers;
• Knowledge of distribution center/logistics concepts, warehousing terminology, and ability to visualize and adapt to new practices;
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Highly motivated and self-sufficient, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Travel Requirements

This position is expected to travel approximately 25% - 50%. A passport is not required, but recommended.
