About the role
The Senior Application Launch Manager will lead projects implementing Kenco’s Warehouse Management (WMS) systems across the company's network of sites. This role involves addressing business needs with systems related to Kenco’s platform, serving the warehousing/logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Writes business requirement documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Develops documented customizations for WMS, LMS, or WCS.
- Ensures projects are launched on time according to agreed timelines.
- Collaborates with senior management and stakeholders to develop project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
- Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Manages project risks and develops mitigation plans.
- Defines project success criteria and conducts post-mortem reviews.
- Prepares necessary artifacts for project closure and oversees successful turnover.
- Mentors junior level resources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in project management and implementation of WMS and/or LMS.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience integrating WMS systems with ERP systems (SAP).
- Ability to create positive business relationships with internal and external clients and third-party service/product providers.
- Knowledge of distribution center/logistics concepts, warehousing terminology, and ability to read and visualize "to be" models.
- High degree of professional confidence and credibility.
- Strong business planning and analytical skills.
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
