Sr Appl Launch Manager

About the role

The Senior Application Launch Manager will lead projects implementing Kenco’s Warehouse Management (WMS) systems across the company's network of sites. This role involves addressing business needs with systems related to Kenco’s platform, supporting the warehousing/logistics industry, and ensuring timely project launches.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads project coordination, including design, implementation planning, and execution;
• Schedules kickoff meetings, gathers requirements, analyzes, builds, tests, and launches projects;
• Liaises with vendors and customers;
• Maintains and updates product documentation and training materials;
• Trains and troubleshoots production issues;
• Writes and implements customizations and integrations for WMS, LMS, and WCS;
• Develops communication plans and project status reports;
• Manages risks and creates recommendations;
• Conducts project post-mortems;
• Turnsover project artifacts to production support;
• Mentors junior resources;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in project management and implementation;
• Proficiency in SQL;
• Experience integrating WMS systems with ERP systems (SAP preferred), WCS a plus;
• Ability to create positive business relationships;
• Knowledge of distribution center/logistics concepts;
• Strong business planning and analytical skills;
• Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
