About the role
Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring an Sr. Analyst, Workforce Analyst for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities
- Conduct simple to complex trending, statistical and predictive analysis to help drive HR department and business workforce objectives and inform talent decisions
- Provide advanced analytical support for HR and business initiatives throughout the talent lifecycle, ensuring data mining results are actionable and measurable
- Use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze talent trends and find their root causes
- Add context to internal talent trends with external metrics and workplace shifts to draw insights and propose strategic plans
- Analyze HR data, develop workforce KPIs, and build dashboards to report impact
- Extract and manage data for value-add dashboards tracking trends and gap closure
- Collaborate to identify key data sources and prioritize integration
- Use creative problem solving to address knowledge gaps through extrapolation or new data collection
- Recommend standards and governance to ensure data quality
- Build consultative relationships and interpret data effectively
- Potentially partner with Talent Analytics, Data Science, and Data Architecture teams to set project roadmaps
Requirements
- Experience in HR, workforce, or talent analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, analytics, or related discipline
- Ability to handle highly confidential data with professionalism
- Demonstrated skills in data collection, cleansing, and quality assurance to produce reliable and actionable insights
- Consulting experience and analytical abilities combined with strategic planning expertise
- Proven working knowledge of data infrastructure, analytics, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Experience developing HR metrics, building dashboards, and enabling users to access self-service visualizations
- Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data sets
- Strong understanding of research, data, metrics, and statistical techniques
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and experience with ATS (e.g., Workday, Phenom) or HRIS systems
- Prior experience validating data quality and strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for various audiences
