Sr. Analyst, Telecommunications Funding Program
About the role
Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is seeking a Telecommunications Funding Program specialist to join their funding service line. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operation by completing and submitting appropriate documentation, interfacing with clients and governmental agencies, and developing and presenting regular client reports and CHC reports.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Vice President to develop and execute process improvement plans
- Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for CHC and clients
- Define annual sales goals and regularly update progress towards these goals
- Complete, submit, and receive approval for all required forms related to the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Telecommunication and Healthcare Financing (HCF) Programs
- Keep clients informed of changes in program processes
- Interact with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and USAC to improve CHC/USAC relations, facilitate funding, and improve processes
- Attend USAC training and related conferences to establish and maintain key relationships and stay updated on program and industry specifics
- Maintain the USAC Customer database and develop process, policy, and procedure guidelines
- Track client telecommunications services and prepare and submit all necessary USAC forms to ensure compliance and facilitate maximum available funding
- Oversee the bidding process for all funding requests to ensure program compliance
- Aid clients with USAC audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, certifications, and related experience
- Minimum 2 years hands-on USAC program experience
- Experience supporting USAC programs
- Organized and possesses strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical terms and applications to non-technical personnel
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Independent analysis, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Experience in the telecom industry is desired
- Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to CHC's corporate office in Plano, TX
- Knowledge of database software and ad hoc reporting
