Sr. Analyst, Scheduling
About the role
The Senior Analyst, Scheduling will support production factories or programs by performing a variety of technical and business tasks aimed at preventing work stoppages or schedule slippages. This role will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and coordinate training needs to enhance metrics and system accuracy.
- Improve process flows for assemblies, material availability, and address potential production issues.
- Solve production problems to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available as needed.
- Support analysis of Bills of Material in an MRP system, release work orders, and track material through the assembly process.
- Prepare necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
- Propose solutions to mitigate work stoppages experienced by factory teams due to material order delays.
- Interface with internal customers and lead projects or teams for continuous improvement.
- Control on-hand material throughout its lifecycle, issuing to work orders or projects, returning to suppliers, shipping to customers, etc.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience in Supply Chain Production Control or Production Control Scheduling, or Manufacturing.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems is preferred.
- Experience with Government and Depot type processes is preferred.
- Experience with MS Excel, including formula application and pivot tables, is preferred.
- Experience working with MS Office 365 applications is preferred.
- Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system is preferred.

- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100.
