Responsibilities

  • Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance
  • Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements
  • Drive success for metrics such as Late to Place, Late to Dock, and Delinquent Material
  • Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects
  • Perform subcontract management of high-dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and IDIQ
  • Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)
  • Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems
  • Travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation, or automotive
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing cost and pricing data and determining proposal compliance
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review
  • Experience placing Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • Experience contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility
  • SAP-based environment experience
  • Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria

Pay

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
