Job description: Position Summary:The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key business partner to Business Unit leadership, providing financial analysis, decision support, forecasting, capital planning, and performance management. This role is responsible for driving financial insight, improving business performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective capital allocation across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to influence leadership decisions in a dynamic, global manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide financial recommendations and strategic business partnership to assigned Business Units and cross-functional teams. Support executive decision-making through financial modeling, profitability analysis, pricing evaluations, cost reduction initiatives, and complex deal structures. Analyze operating results, identify key business drivers and trends, and proactively recommend opportunities to improve revenue, margin, productivity, and cash flow. Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and financial performance reporting packages. Prepare and eventually lead financial reviews with Business Unit leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Evaluate capital expenditure requests, perform return-on-investment analyses, and monitor capital spending against approved budgets. Recommend financial process improvements through standardization, automation, and implementation of finance systems and analytical tools. Enhance financial reporting capabilities by leveraging business intelligence, data analytics, and automation technologies. Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial review processes, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of results. Participate in strategic initiatives, business cases, customer evaluations, and operational improvement projects. Mentor junior finance team members and support the development of finance best practices across the organization. Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives and execution of key business priorities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline. 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, operations finance, or related analytical roles. Demonstrated experience supporting business leaders through financial analysis and decision support activities. Demonstrated financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated business acumen, problem-solving capability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment. Interest in working within a publicly traded, multinational manufacturing organization. Preferred Qualifications: MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification. Experience with SAP, BPC, Tableau, Power BI, or other enterprise planning and business intelligence platforms. Knowledge of capital planning, investment analysis, and manufacturing cost structures. Prior experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial operations. Experience supporting system implementations, reporting automation, or business transformation initiatives. Familiarity with operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial performance management in a manufacturing environment. Location: Tempe, AZ. This position has a hybrid schedule.
