Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Streaming Finance, is a key member of the Global Streaming Finance team supporting the Technology & Product organizations. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to business leaders, helping drive investment decisions, financial planning, and operational performance across Peacock's technology and product ecosystem. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of a leading direct-to-consumer streaming platform while partnering closely with Product, Technology, and Finance leadership.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, analytical rigor, and business curiosity to translate complex data into actionable insights that support decision-making and long-term growth. This role reports to the Director, Global Streaming Finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the Global Streaming Technology & Product organizations, including key cost drivers, operational metrics, and strategic priorities.
- Support all planning and forecasting processes, including Long Range Planning, Annual Budgeting, quarterly forecasts, monthly pacing, and executive operating reviews.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Product, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Analyze monthly financial results, identify key variances, and communicate performance drivers, risks, and opportunities to management.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting packages that clearly communicate financial performance and business trends.
- Perform cost analysis, financial walks, and ad hoc analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with adjacent finance teams to ensure alignment across forecasts, reporting, and business planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, BPC, Hyperion, or similar financial platforms.
