Sr Analyst, Execution
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid schedule)
About the role
We are seeking a Lead Analyst for our Execution team. This role will drive significant business results by coding and executing strategies that inform critical business decisions for our Operations teams. The position focuses on implementing strategy initiatives, process automation, and collaborating on credit risk and collection strategies. The successful candidate will expand their competencies, grow their business and industry acumen, and work on complex processes across the end-to-end project cycle. They will suggest new solutions to old challenges and experiment with new technology to improve information delivery throughout the company. This candidate will partner with leadership to develop executable and meaningful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Enhance Collections strategies by leveraging data and generating analysis, reports, and insights.
- Use advanced skills with data query tools (i.e., SQL, Python, PySpark) to execute, implement, and monitor daily processes.
- Work closely with strategy and analytical partners to gather requirements and develop technical requirements for strategy execution.
- Manage relationships and facilitate execution across all stakeholders, including weekly and monthly meetings.
- Identify performance opportunities in team members and take steps to improve team capabilities.
- Effectively escalate and manage high-profile strategies to mitigate risk and identify solutions to prevent similar issues in the future.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years experience in process automation and strategy development using Databricks workspace, Databricks Notebooks, Job Clusters, Python & PySpark, Github, Bitbucket.
- Strong working knowledge of T-SQL and/or P-SQL, specifically to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data.
- Experience scheduling jobs in Databricks.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimizing code running in Databricks environment.
- Strong relational database and SQL experience.
- Ability to mine data from various sources (SQL, Snowflake, etc.) and produce meaningful reports.
- Ability to translate high-level business requirements into technical data requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentations) and ability to solve complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities as the body of work evolves, often on limited notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of consumer lending and collection or recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of AWS, Snow SQL, Snowpark.
