About the role
The Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a full-time Senior Analyst, Deployment Planning to join their Corporate Deployment and Itinerary Planning team. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Deployment, PMO & Operations, this position is based in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute competitive and ad hoc analyses and memos for distribution across senior executive levels.
- Proactively partner with stakeholders to identify new ad hoc analyses and integrate them into the team's analytics roadmap.
- Own the ongoing design and implementation of competitive intelligence tools, collaborating with Revenue Management Planning on data pipeline accuracy and consistency.
- Drive automation of recurring analyses to reduce manual refresh work and enhance reporting capacity.
- Measure and report on forecast accuracy and model performance, driving continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across the company to understand and outline requirements for future tools and processes.
- Oversee the development and execution of various projects and process improvement initiatives, coordinating across stakeholders to set clear goals and detailed plans.
- Evaluate solutions, balance competing priorities, and guide projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Partner cross-functionally to lead initiatives reshaping itinerary planning processes.
- Document and standardize departmental processes to support future analysis and automation.
- Develop and deliver presentations, trainings, and other materials for both internal and external use.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university with a concentration in industrial engineering, data analytics, business, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience supporting technical projects and leading process improvement efforts.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerBI (or Tableau), and project management software.
- Cruise industry knowledge and/or experience preferred.
- Process improvement experience required.
Skills
- Strong competency in computer systems and applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Colonial/As400, Hyperion On-Demand, and Power-BI.
