About the role
This Sr. Aircraft Systems Engineer will lead and mentor a multi-discipline team supporting the client’s 747/767/737/777 fleets. The Sr. Aircraft Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and reliability of the aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize systems engineering actions
- Manage heavy maintenance and conversion MRO documentation
- Issue instructions to support safe and timely aircraft operations
- Conduct budgetary planning and regulatory compliance (FAR/AD/NPRM) activities
- Perform FIX analysis
- Liaise with OEMs, MROs, and regulatory bodies
- Participate in industry working groups
- Review consultant and contractor work
- Develop AMOCs and update technical documents
- Support aircraft induction and integration
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability, reduce costs, and increase aircraft availability and performance
- Balance customer and team needs while driving technical issues to closure
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as an Aircraft Systems Engineer with managerial experience
- Must come from an aviation background (Airline, MRO, OEM)
- Strong understanding of Aircraft Systems
- Experience reviewing, advising, and updating records including engineering orders and STCs (supplemental type certificate)

Pay
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr – $110,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)
