About the role
Design, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines and components. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting assistance
- Evaluating airworthiness directives
- Preparing specifications and manuals
- Providing engineering consultation and reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (related experience may offset degree requirements; related education/degree may offset experience requirements)
- Five (5) years related aircraft engineering experience
Qualifications
- Position within the Powerplant Engineering team
- Prior engineering experience with commercial high-bypass turbo-fan engines highly preferred
- A calculus-based Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent) required
- Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering preferred
- Strong technical writing and communication skills preferred

Pay
Memphis, TN Pay Range: $6,511.62/month – $10,744.16/month. Internal Compensation Grade FEC_E26B.
Schedule
Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week in Memphis, TN.
