About the role

As a Senior Aerospace Engineer at AEVEX, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of advanced aerospace systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of aerospace systems.
  • Conduct detailed technical analyses and simulations to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations for project stakeholders.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of aerospace systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging aerospace technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and systems engineering methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
  • Knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion, and materials science.
  • Experience with systems engineering and lifecycle management.

Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or ANSYS.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
