About the role
As a Senior Aerospace Engineer at AEVEX, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of advanced aerospace systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of aerospace systems.
- Conduct detailed technical analyses and simulations to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Participate in the testing and validation of aerospace systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with emerging aerospace technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and systems engineering methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Experience with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
- Knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion, and materials science.
- Experience with systems engineering and lifecycle management.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or ANSYS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
