About the role
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to various orbits and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive spares and inventory strategies leveraging AI/ML capabilities to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Create and implement procurement economies of scale strategies across GS1, including data-driven make/buy/where business cases.
- Design and deploy AI/ML tools specifically for optimizing material selection, vendor evaluation, and other data analytics support functions.
- Identify and transform manual processes into automated solutions with a relentless focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Champion GS1 strategic memos that improve the NG business case.
- Develop and maintain GS1 part lifetime cost model inputs.
- Develop and execute safety stock inventory strategy.
- Manage and mentor partner development team(s) providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where AI can enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and analysts to derive insights and drive data-driven decision making.

Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business/operations and/or business analytics, or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, program management, management consulting or related scope.
- Prior experience analyzing large sets of data and tracking hardware throughout all stages of a part's lifecycle is a plus.
- Experience with integrating AI solutions into large-scale software systems and infrastructure.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
