Sr. Administrative Assistant
About the Role
Provides administrative and executive support to senior managers and other partners in the department.
- Composes and creates documents, spreadsheets, and/or presentations.
- Maintains and organizes paper and electronic files, ensuring confidentiality.
- Manages database files.
- Handles and confirms travel arrangements and processes travel expense reimbursements.
- Schedules meetings and conferences.
- Works on special projects, such as gathering, inputting, and compiling information for reports as required by manager or other partners in the department.
- May track or monitor expenses for the department.
- May greet or assist clients and/or vendors.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines; uses initiative but refers more complex problems to supervisors/experts.
- Works effectively as a team member but also independently.
- Provides business development support.
- Supports culture and group engagement initiatives.
- Supports West and East Michigan advisory boards.
Requirements
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
- Financial Services industry knowledge is preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g., Microsoft Office and Workday).
- Event support knowledge is preferred.
