Sr. Administrative Assistant

About the role

The Senior Administrative Assistant ensures the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of an assigned department by providing a variety of complex administrative support functions involving highly sensitive and privileged information.

• Maintain work schedules
• Arrange for conference attendance and travel needs
• Organize meetings
• Compose and/or edit memos
• Prepare meeting materials
• Track and report on financial and operational metrics
• Create spreadsheets and presentations
• Monitor budgetary data
• Handle administrative requests and queries
• Interpret departmental and/or corporate policies and procedures
• Coordinate special projects

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), day-shift, business-hours, on-campus, in-office position.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of college or successful completion of a vocational secretarial course
• AA or BA degree preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of high-level administrative assistant or secretarial experience
• Previous administrative assistant experience in a health care setting preferred

Pay and Benefits

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position is $24.83 - $35.71 USD per hour. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant’s years of experience.
