About the Opportunity: The Senior Manager, Accounting will lead critical areas of the global financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across complex accounting functions. This role combines leadership and technical expertise to maintain high-quality financial reporting, drive process improvements, and support key system implementations, significantly impacting the integrity and efficiency of the organization’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for key global accounting areas including general ledger, cloud infrastructure spend, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, cash, and leases.
• Manage and develop a small team, setting expectations and enhancing review quality.
• Implement AI and automation tools to optimize accounting processes and reduce close cycle times.
• Apply U.S. GAAP principles to complex accounting issues and ensure balance sheet accuracy.
• Standardize and govern accounting processes across global entities.
• Collaborate with Finance Transformation teams to improve processes and data quality.
• Strengthen SOX compliance and support external audits.
• Play a key role in SAP implementation, including process design and post-go-live stabilization.
• Work cross-functionally with finance teams to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of complex global accounting areas.
• At least 2 years of people management experience with ability to coach on technical accounting.
• CPA certification and experience with SOX compliance.
• Strong technical accounting judgment under U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AI or automation tools in finance or accounting.
• Ability to manage high ownership, communicate directly, and remain composed under pressure.
• Experience in high-growth technology environments and public accounting is preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $199,700 to $274,550 USD, with eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
